July 11, 1939 – March 5, 2025
In the afternoon of Wednesday March 5, Anne slipped away peacefully, painlessly and on her own terms.
Anne was born in Bralorne, grew up on the lower mainland and proudly lived her whole life in BC.
With a sharp wit, she was quick to laugh and never missed an opportunity to make an amazing meal. Infinitely capable, independent, compassionate and fearless, she held strong opinions and was always more than happy to share them.
“Though she be but little, she is fierce”
Predeceased by parents Loyd and Aline, brother-in-law Bob and daughter-in-law Joan.
Her feistiness will be deeply missed by her three younger siblings; Ruth (Bob), Ben (Pam), Jim (Vicki), her devoted daughter Catherine and son Brian (Caren).
Anne is remembered by generations of family; grandsons, nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends here on the Sunshine Coast and beyond. All reflections of a life well lived and adventures enjoyed.
Warm heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Dr. Krickan, Jenise, Bradley and the team of Palliative Homecare angels, Pamela Trant NP and Susan Nuttall. Everyone so patient, caring and compassionate.
A celebration of life will be held in Sechelt at a date TBA.
