Come meet the farm animals, while supporting Gibsons Wildlife Rehab.
Interact, hold, feed and learn about more than 20 varieties of farm animals as Party Ponies & Farm Ventures hosts a fundraising event for the whole family next Sunday, May 4 from noon to 3 p.m.
Meet the national champion Andalusian horse that talks and scratches your back, a goat that walks on its hind legs, feed a tea cup pig that sits and makes faces, get a kiss from Dodger the llama.
There will be free pony rides and games or just sit back and enjoy a coffee and homemade bakery goods, while local singer/songwriter and guitarist, Bonar, performs throughout the afternoon.
Meet Clint and Irene Davey who operate the centre. As the Wildlife Centre’s federal and provincial permits do not allow public viewing of wildlife, this fundraiser gives children and adults the opportunity to touch and interact compassionately with animals.
Party Ponies & Farm Ventures is located at 713 Sullivan Road. Admission is by donation.
