More than 130 employment seekers attended the Hire Up the Coast Job Fair at the Seaside Centre on March 28. The annual event is hosted by the Open Door Group and WorkBC Centre and offers potential employees the opportunity to connect with a host of local businesses that are currently hiring. Represented were 17 employers, including the Home Healthcare Network, BC Emergency Health Services, BC Ferries, RainCity Housing and Support Society, First Response DKI, Starbucks Coffee Company, Capilano University, Systematic Mill Installations, Sunshine Coast Credit Union, Vancouver Coastal Health, and others.
