Enjoy this Friday’s dinner and live music at the Roberts Creek Legion with Grant Olsen.
This Saturday, Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. the Legion presents Walk on Dead, a roots-rock band modelled in the fine tradition of collective improvisation.
Every Tuesday the Legion offers an open hosted jam with A.D.D. Everyone is welcome between 7:30 and 11 p.m.
Next Friday, Oct. 3 at the Legion will host Brain Freeze Trivia Night. Cost is $5 per player beginning at 7:30 p.m.
There will be a benefit for teachers that are in financial hardship due to the recent strike this Saturday, Sept. 27. The Sunshine Coast Teachers’ Association will distribute the proceeds to the most deserving among their membership, single-income households primarily. The event will begin at 3 p.m. with a silent auction, bake sale, with children’s entertainment until 7 when the all-star jam begins with such fine acts as Matt Watson and Janet Panic.

On Sunday, Oct. 5 the Roberts Creek Fall Faire at the in the Masonic Hall (next to the Hall) will host Harvesting our Wisdom with Denise Lagasse.
Join Lagasse in an open circle where each gardener/participant will be encouraged to share what they have learned this year. This workshop is free and is presented by the Live and Learn Program of One Straw Society and funded by a grant from the Vancouver Health SMARTFund.
The 6th Roberts Creek Scout Group has space for new Cubs (ages 8 to 10) and Scouts (ages 9 to 11). Both groups enjoy a variety of outdoor programming and camping based at Camp Byng. For more information call 604-885-2282.
