The Gibsons SuperValu is starting up another intake of its Coastal Community Grants Program launched in May.
The program invites non-profits to apply for support for “community projects, programs and initiatives that impact our Sunshine Coast community.”
The deadline to apply for two $500 grants is Oct. 31 and the awardees will be announced in November.
Last May, upon the first intake of the program, the grocer ended up giving out 15 awards as they could not decide among the applications. Grantees ranged from an outdoor club to wildlife rescuers to a Legion.
