A Thanksgiving weekend tradition continues with the ninth annual Gibsons Fall Fair this weekend.
Dave and Betty Wells have generously provided a fantastic venue for thepast nine years to host this event. To date, the organizers of the Gibsons Fall Fair have donated more than $20,000 back into the community to various non-profit organizations.
The annual fair is held in the big greenhouse at Quality Farm and Garden on Pratt Road. The wonderful environment ensures that, rain or shine, the event will still take place. Boasting more than 50 vendors this year, the Fall Fair is a perfect place to start your Christmas shopping or pick up some fresh baking for your Thanksgiving dinner table. Bring your family and holiday guests down to sample a taste of the Coast's eclectic wares. Face painting is available for the kids, check your garden and enter the largest pumpkin or largest sunflower contest, or how about carving a spectacular jack-o-lantern and bringing it down to display for the weekend?
The St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary will be on hand with loads offresh baking, and the Lions Club will be there cooking up yummy breakfast and lunch items.
The fair runs on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
