“Reverse the Trend of the Backseat Generation,” a webinar hosted by the Langdale Parent Advisory Council and Vancouver Coastal Health on Oct. 29, was well attended and brought a vibrant discussion around the topic of active travel.

Other resources shared by presenters included the 2020 Canadian Physical Activity Report Card and Guy Faulkner’s 26-minute Running Free documentary, both also available online.
School District No. 46 is also piloting a map with several schools that identifies the safest routes to school. It will be available later in the fall following consultations with local parents.
