Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of July 28!
Kisses to my grandson who’s five years old, who saved his and his neighbours’ houses. He smelled smoke and made Mom phone the fire department.
Thank you so much to Sunshine Coast Appliance for doing a masterful job at accommodating a fella whose fridge decided to pack it in! Saved all the food too! Extra thanks to Rudy & coworker who were the muscle.
Kisses to people who bring their clean refundables to Habitat for Humanity. Kicks to people who bring garbage to us with their refundables. We don’t want dirty diapers, half eaten food and cigarette butts.
Kisses to Coast Cable for the music track used in their TV recording of the syiyaya / Canada Day parade (instead of commentating)! It is perfect!
Hugs and kisses by the bucketful to Dagan and Cole, two wonderful paramedics who work on the Sunshine Coast. Thanks for bringing home my husband!
Kicks to those that use Picadilly Park every day from 9 and 10 a.m. as an off-leash dog park. I am forced to wait until after 10 a.m. to take my two young children to the park as one is very afraid of dogs.
Kisses to the folks at the Repair Cafe. I saved a trip to the city, time and money to have a brand-new item right out of the box repaired. And a lovely chat with the gentleman who fixed it.
Hats off to the police officer who parked their marked cruiser with emergency lights activated at Trant Road for an extended period. The sight brought traffic down to the posted speed or slower.
Kisses to the staff at the Eagle Ridge Veterinary Clinic. Your kindness and compassion on a very tough day was so much appreciated.
A big kick to the man driving east on the highway and cut in front of traffic so hard his German Sheppard was thrown from the truck onto the highway and then into the ditch.
A garden full of kisses to Marlo at Boutique in the Creek for being so friendly and knowledgeable. She is a huge asset to the company and I will go back!
A wheelchair full of kisses to the man who stopped and got out of his vehicle when the beverage holder on my chair fell off and landed on the road. He picked it up and I was able to re-attach it. Thank you!
