Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of March 31!
- A huge shopping bag full of kisses to the always cheerful fellow Matt at London Drugs! You always seem so happy to see us and just show genuine care in helping everyone you can with a smile.
- Kisses to Lou Legal for taking care of my income tax return for yet another year, and at no charge, thanks to my low income. I really appreciate your professional knowledge.
- Kicks to the people who speed up Central Ave at top speed because they think this residential road is a shortcut to the ferry. Show some respect before someone gets really hurt.
- Thanks to the two young men who separately stopped in their trucks and asked if my wife and I needed assistance when they saw the hood of our Jeep up. That sort of kindness never happened to us before moving to Sechelt.
- Many kisses to the super fellow who carried my heavy oxygen up to the 3rd floor cheerfully and so pleasantly. He deserves many, many kisses and some hugs also.
- Kicks to whoever cut the nootka roses along the burm at Sargent Bay. You did an ugly job and worse you left thorns all over the place for our bare feet and all the dogs’ feet. We had to clean all this up – again! Do a job right or don’t do it at all.
- Huge healthy Happy 60th Birthday to my baby sis, Michellini! You are loved XOXO
- Kicks to all those who overload the little libraries in their neighbourhoods with all their unwanted books. Doors fly open – books fall out – rain blows in – leaving a mushy mess of paper.
- BIG kicks to the people who criticize a wonderful grocery store for changing the way they give organizations a rebate on shopping. If you would check with customer service, they would tell you they are now doing it an easier way and it gives you way more money.
- Bushels of hugs to the person who turned in my red bag left on the bus. Thank you to the lady who called from BC Transit to tell me and to the wonderful bus driver who carried it on the bus until I met you to get it back. People on the Coast are the best!
- Kisses to the person who turned my cell phone in at Tim Hortons on March 17.
