Here are your kisses and kicks for the week of April 11!
- Kisses to the wound care nurses at the Sechelt Hospital ACU. Thanks so much for your professionalism, compassion, good humour...and pumpkin seeds!
- Carnation kisses to Ann-Lynn Flowers on your kindness and support to a young lady that just wanted to say thank you to her Sp. O swim coach.
- Yummy thanks to Judy for treating our table to a scrumptious “Brownie Heaven” dessert at Taphouse 22 last Wednesday. So thoughtful! From the six laughing ladies.
- Kicks to those responsible for damaging, destroying and stealing legally posted political signs. You are not doing your cause the good you think you are. Respect democracy.
- Kisses to GE Plumbing… Thank you for being a rainbow in a world full of shi$storms
- Kudos to the local grocery stores who are identifying the items on their weekly sale flyers that are Canadian products with the Canadian flag, not only in the flyer but also on their shelves! This small act really helps the consumer choose to support the Canadian economy, saving time and confusion.
- Thank you to the hospital auxiliary loan cupboard for going above and beyond! Even personally dropping off a bath chair on your way home! Kindness is contagious!
- Kisses to the Medicine Shop. I mistook their Saturday hours, picked up my medicine before they were even technically open on Monday. Health comes first. Thanks!
- Belated kisses to Habitat for Humanity for starting me on downsizing, by taking small things youngsters have no interest in but oldtimers still can still use. Recycling rather than garbage!
- A fire truck full of gratitude to Sechelt Tim Hortons and Marino’s Your Independent Grocer that donated coffee and food for the Fourth Annual Youth Fire Fighting Academy Celebration that occurred over spring break. Your support of our Coast youth and their families is very much appreciated.
