Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of November 24!
- Kisses to the trick or treaters on Park Road in Gibsons. What a pleasure to see you all. Great costumes. Politely taking only one bar until you were told to take more. Thank you every time. Hope you all had a great time.
- Kisses to the customer at Wilson Creek IGA who brought me some chicken noodle soup when I was campaigning there for the Poppy Fund. It was really, really cold standing there for two hours and that soup was hugely appreciated! Thank you!
- Big kisses to the paramedics who arrived in about five minutes to attend to my husband, who had experienced a mini stroke while on our way to the Halloween events in downtown Sechelt. You were capable, kind and supportive. Thank you so much.
- Kisses to all the wonderful early childhood educators at Halfmoon Bay Strong Start program. This amazing program supports young children’s development and creates opportunities for parents & grandparents /caregivers to connect.
- Kicks to the lady in the cream coloured VW bug last ferry to Langdale Friday night. Stay in your own lane when leaving the ferry until the lines open up to do so. You nearly caused a crash.
- Kisses and sad hugs goodbye to Gypsy. An amazing and intelligent dog who was known by many on the Seawall and in West Sechelt for knowing who had treats for her!
- Unending kisses to the London Drugs Pharmacist who came to the coast on Saturday to fill a community need and who told me he was going home to work at his regular LD job the next day.
- Kisses and huge thanks to the wonderful audience who turned out to support the Witches Of Sechelt dancing to raise funds for Sunshine Coast Hospice on Oct. 28!
- Kisses to our wonderful community for supporting the SCHA, Hopkins Fall Bazaar & Marketplace fundraiser. All funds raised will go directly to enhance the quality of healthcare on the Sunshine Coast.
- Bushels of gratitude kisses to Brian of Len Wrays who, with his crew of two, made my move from city to Coast completely painless. These guys are strong and funny!
