One Straw Society brings us an extravagant, outdoor, farm-to-table soirée! A multi-course, Coast culinary collaboration from Persephone Brewery, Wilde Kitchen, Bruinwood Distillery, Brickers Cider, and both the Gumboot Cafe and the Restaurant, to support the Tiny Farm, One Straw’s exciting community project. To comply with social distancing requirements, tickets will be available for groups of four to six people per table; they are committed to creating a safe and enjoyable evening for your “bubble.” A vegetarian option is available, as well as a limited number of tickets for groups less than four. If there is more than one vegetarian per table, please email [email protected] with details. Fundraising is for Tiny Farm projects, programming, and infrastructure to create an innovative mixed-use community food hub and build food security on the Coast, as well as to facilitate agricultural education and empowerment for folks of all ages. The Tiny Farm is located behind the Gumboot Restaurant at 1041 Roberts Creek Rd. Search Tiny Farm, Big Table at eventbrite.ca for meal tickets, $75 per person with a cash bar.
