Sunshine Coast weather: Patio season is in full swing

With lots of sun and warm, but moderate temperatures across the Coast, it's going to be a great weekend to be outside.

There will be a few clouds lingering across the Coast this morning, but by mid-afternoon it will be all sunshine, all the time.

Environment Canada forecasts a high of 21-C and a UV index of 5 (moderate) this afternoon, before a few clouds drift back in late this evening, which also brings a northwest wind of 20 km/h and a low of 6-C.

Saturday brings much of the same, with sun and a high of 17-C and low of plus 5-C overnight. Sunday you can expect more sun with a high of 17-C and low of 8-C overnight.

Weatherhood is also calling for sun, but with a high of 18-C today and low of 7-C overnight. Its weekend forecast includes a high of 16-C for Saturday and 14-C for Sunday.

The sun will set at 8:25 p.m. today and rise again tomorrow at 5:58 a.m.
