It’s going to be a wet weekend and that rain will carry on throughout the week.
It’s grey and damp days like these that make me regret complaining out the cold earlier this week, because at least the sun was out.
But, nevertheless, today, Feb. 21, according to Environment Canada, Sechelt will experience periods of rain ending this evening, then it will be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers overnight.
Southeast winds will blow across the Coast at 30 km/h gusting up to 50 km/h. Temperatures will reach a high of 8C and remain near that all night.
Tomorrow, Feb. 22, it will be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers with rain beginning in the morning reaching 20 mm. The wind will come in from the southeast at 20 km/h, gusting up to 40 and then increasing to 60 km/h late in the morning.
Saturday’s temperature high will be 9C, with a low of 8C overnight and showers.
The temperature on Sunday, will reach 11C during the day with a low of 4C overnight. You can expect rain, clouds and wind all day.
The forecast over at Weatherhood is much the same, with sunset scheduled for 5:46 p.m. and sunrise at 7:08 a.m.
