While the BC Ferries schedule could lead you to believe summer is pretty much over, Mother Nature has other plans for Sechelt and the Sunshine Coast this weekend with highs reaching 26-C today and Saturday, according to Weatherhood.
Over at Environment Canada, the experts are predicting highs of 28-C today and 27-C tomorrow, with 33 per cent humidity. Over night, the temperatures are expected to drop to a comfortable 13.
It does look like the rain will return by next Wednesday, so take advantage of these sunny days, by checking out some of the many arts and culture events taking place on the Sunshine Coast this weekend as listed in the Coast Reporter, so make sure to pick up a copy.
The damp, cooler August the Sunshine Coast experienced, allowed the campfire ban to be lifted and means water storage at Chapman Lake is at 75 per cent, which is good news for Coasters and anyone visiting Sechelt and surrounding areas.
