I would like to thank Paul Martiquet and the Health Officers Council of B.C. for their initiative to create a public discussion addressing the issue of prohibition. Its time to end the fear mongering generated by the "War on Drugs" and to look at more compassionate and useful solutions. I would be interested in seeing this debate become part of the current election discussion, so we, the voting public know where our prospective representatives stand on this issue.
