The annual Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Arts is one of the gems of this fine community that is so supportive of artists of all kinds. The leadership and the festival staff outdo themselves every year.
The Sunshine Coast Independent Writers Group has had the privilege of participating in this yearly event and would like to thank Jane and the event staff and our local media for doing such a great job in so many areas. Just one of those areas in which they shine is supporting local self-published authors.
We are delighted as a group to report that we sold 138 books at our festival tables under the tent, and in so doing we supported local authors and local small business.
Thank you, Sunshine Coast, for being such a great place to live and such a supportive place for writers and artists of all kinds!
