Thanks for the drag races

On behalf of local and visiting spectators who took in the drag racing events at the airport, I'd like to thank the many busy volunteers for running such a complex operation.

Thanks also to the drag racers - men and women - for challenging the laws of physics on that runway! Since 1999, this event has been a widely-appreciated part of summer recreation on the Sunshine Coast.
