Just a quick note of appreciation to Sechelt residents. In four weeks, 481 individuals filled out a Sechelt residents 50-plus survey form, either online (194) or in print form (287).
The overall return rate was 11.2 per cent of all those eligible - an excellent response rate for this kind of sampling. Of those aged 65 to 79, the response rate was 14.5 per cent - way beyond our ambitions as a project team.
The team will take a break over Christmas, then begin compiling the survey results in January. There will be widespread reporting back to the community beginning sometime in February.
