Having looked at the on-line engineering information provide by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, I support the proposal. It is sensible and should have been in place a long time ago, preferably before I was rear-ended while stationary and waiting for a vehicle in front of me to turn left onto Davis Bay Road.
The mayor and council of Sechelt should be commended for their choice and the engineers thanked for their design. I'm sure pedestrians will be safer too.
