When I saw this letter, I first thought it might be an attempt at humour. Then I realized that A. Kaye was serious. After all, a "white haired" lady with a cane could sprint across the road if she wanted to, except she obviously makes her "leisurely" way just to annoy drivers.
Welcome to the Sun-shine Coast, A. Kaye. Here we stop for pedestrians, even the insistent elderly or the impudent in wheelchairs. Slow down and get over yourself.
