I am glad that Mike Lane ("Shame on your HST policies," Coast Reporter letters, Oct. 15) took the time to express his disgust with the HST - as did over 700,000 British Columbians.
His anger at the Liberal government of B.C. and the Conservative government in Ottawa is entirely justified. I just want to point out that when the government cut off debate and called the vote, only the Liberals voted for it. Now they're spending the revenue from the HST on propaganda to convince us that we are wrong.
