On behalf of the 1st Gibsons Scouts, I would like to apologize for running out of manure bags on Saturday, March 20.
I understand many came to our sale before noon only to find that we had already sold out. We had many customers coming early to ensure they would have their orders filled. The bags we had on the ground had already been purchased, either as pre-sales or were awaiting delivery.
We found we were about 300 bags short this year, a problem that arises from buying by weight, but selling by quantity. This year's manure was very dense and therefore very heavy. We will try to take steps next to year to avoid this problem. Thank you for your patience and for supporting the 1st Gibsons Scouts.
