I feel honoured when I see my local bear. She is very shy. I call her Bliss. She has a white spot on her chest.
I do not leave garbage outside and when she drops her waste close to the house, I take a shovel and put it at a further distance to let her know her boundaries. She respects me and I respect her. I've watched her off and on through the years and worry about her getting shot.
