I think it's time for residents of Davis Bay to support council in their efforts to improve highway safety. The Ministry of Transportation has the expertise to identify and address highway safety issues. Council represents the community's desire to preserve the beauty and integrity of the seawall. Working together, they will be able to improve highway safety without undue impact on our seawall.
It's unfortunate that funding and time constraints do not allow Selma Park's highway safety issues to also be addressed. It will be tragic if we miss the opportunity to address the highway safety issues in Davis Bay.
