A group of residents and non-resident landowners of West Howe Sound have been debating the future of this community for the past year as part of the official community plan (OCP) review.
Now it's your turn.
Do you like the idea of an extensive new housing development and village centre on YMCA land near Langdale Elementary School?
Do you favour more housing on Crown lands between Goodwin and Reed Road in Granthams?
Do you want a new subdivision north of Stella Maris Road in upper Hopkin's Landing?
Do you care about SmartGrowth principles? Are you worried that there isn't enough development potential to accommodate those who may want to move here in the next five years?
Please help the committee draft an OCP that reflects, as much as possible, the wishes of residents. Bring your views to an open house Nov. 28 from noon to 4 p.m. at Langdale Elementary School.
