On Sunday, July 11, from the beach below Snickett Park, I removed and discarded two extremely soiled diapers, a pair of similarly soiled shorts and various tissues and refuse - all this within steps of an animal-proof rubbish bin. Such mindless, sordid littering of a much-frequented park and beach makes me appreciate anew the consideration of local dog-owners who pick up after their pets while enjoying the beauty of Sechelt's waterfront.
