Letters: What’s happening to us?

Editor:

Has anybody else noticed how hard it is to be a contrarian these days? Previously, it took little to alarm folks.

But now your promotions of vaccine hesitancy are met with a knowing sigh. The holy orders from health authorities are being challenged.

Moms want to see current data on risk/reward before their child rolls up a sleeve. With no such studies available, the conscientious parent wonders how the jabs can be called “safe and effective.” Worse yet, Coasters are turning into haters. They hate being lied to. They hate products that aren’t properly tested. They hate health regulators financed by Pfizer. Where once we were just curious about the lack of science supporting health claims, now it’s hate. What’s happening to us?
