Letters: Vote for safe roads

We all recognize stretches of our roads are treacherous for virtually all modes of commute but our family didn’t appreciate just how dangerous until our kids started taking an interest in cycling to school and local shops. We haven’t been able to find a safe route that avoids super exposed sections. So what?

Please consider voting for political candidates who are committed to making our roads safer for all users—including cyclists and pedestrians. Groups like TraC (Transportation Choices Sunshine Coast) have been doing incredible work advocating for these changes, and we need elected officials who continue making it a priority.

It’s a win-win-win for community health, safety, and economic growth.
