I had the pleasure of representing the Sunshine Coast Highway Society at last Saturday’s Volunteer Event organized by the Rotary Club at the Sechelt Seniors’ Activity Centre.
It was a great way to connect with other organizations and share thoughts and concerns about the Sunshine Coast. Something that was a common theme from all those who came to our booth was “We need a highway!”
I was very impressed with our MP, Patrick Weiler, who spent hours speaking with each of the organizations in attendance. I look forward to his assessment of the needs of our community.
