Letters: Recommending the no-bake blackberry tart

Editor:

In reply to the blackberry pie recipe in your Aug. 23 issue, here’s a link to something I discovered a couple weeks ago. I made this for a group of old friends and everyone raved about it and wanted the recipe. It only takes a cup of blackberries, however, I will proportionately increase all ingredients so I can use up a full tin of condensed milk and have none left over.

It was a super hit... not sweet, easy to make. I substituted Oreo crumbs for the base as I couldn’t locate chocolate graham crackers. There are also gluten free graham crackers and some chocolate gluten free graham wafers.

It’s beautiful, delicious and easy–almost like an ice cream cake.
