Letters: Move forward with Coastal Recovery Community

As the opioid crisis continues to spread and consume more and more lives every year, residential treatment centres should by now be an integral part of every community and not at risk of closing.

As the opioid crisis continues to spread and consume more and more lives every year, residential treatment centres should by now be an integral part of every community and not at risk of closing.

It’s in the Town of Gibsons, and the residents’ best interest to do everything possible to maintain the existence of the Coastal Recovery Community.

Recovery centres save lives and they also make economical sense rather than taxing the overloaded medical system.  All the start up initiative has been done, so rather than unravelling it, let’s move this important facility forward.
