Gibsons council lately met,
No law for indoor burning yet.
Smell, Port Mellon, now is gone,
Fresh air in Gibsons is right on.
Emissions made from in or out,
Should be restrained there is no doubt.
Noxious odours, heavy smoke,
Is offensive to some folk.
Burning wood exception and,
Blackened toast allowed to stand.
Offender gets no jail or lash,
Pays a heavy fine of cash.
Bylaw Officer needs a nose,
For law enforcement I suppose.
