I have just taken the 90 Express bus from Langdale to Sechelt, not my usual method of travel. I want to express my pleasure at seeing what a great bunch of teenagers live on the Coast. A huge herd of them got on in Gibsons, heading home on Friday afternoon. They were happily boisterous, cheerful and helpful. They alerted the driver to an older woman who was struggling to catch the bus, gave up their seats to older people, called out their thanks to the driver.
Kudos to all those teens who’ve given me a reason to smile this week.
