Grotesque eyesore? My response to Paullette Caillé regarding the drill rig in West Sechelt is to keep your eyes open until you get close, and then time your blink so you won’t have to suffer seeing that horrific sight. Is that the worst thing you see every day? As far as it being a hazard to cyclists, if one hits it, it stopped them from a serious crash down a big bank. And last, you mention it as “some logging contraption no doubt,” like that is a bad thing. It is a drill rig. Used in road building, building site development, and yes logging. There are far bigger issues that require attention.
