Science is a method, not a series of facts. It deals with things that can be proven or disproven. Scientists love statistics, as they can measure things. For instance, oil prices are affected by the Russian war on Ukraine, windfall profits and fossil fuel subsidies. The carbon tax is such a minuscule factor in the price, that it hardly affects our cost of living and axing it would only do the harm to the environment it is intended to mitigate.
