Thank you to the Sunshine Coast community who gave generously of their time and means to help impact the lives of 847 children. Together we packed these shoeboxes filled with school supplies, hygiene items and toys for Operation Christmas Child.
That is an amazing increase of 125 boxes from last year! You have made a huge difference in the lives of these children.
I would like to thank the volunteers at our local businesses and all those who packed an Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift.
Thank you again to everyone who participated in this project. If you are a knitter, sewer, have access to sewing items to make sewing kits, or other crafter who can make items that would be loved by children, you can call me, the local co-ordinator, at 604-886-8545 to find out what the needs are or where you can volunteer.
