Editor:

Personally, one of my reasons for being a Suzuki Elder is that it gives me a place to come from each day with its alignment with the Declaration of Interdependence and related environmental values that I am expressing through the Climate Action Outreach Project. I am actively looking for 12 to 20 friends to work with me/us to inspire climate actions amongst seniors across B.C.

The project members commit to two phone calls or email outreach efforts per week for a six-week commitment(s), that is to call a person or organization that you are already comfortable connecting with: to 1) communicate about our BC Hub’s Climate Action Resources available for seniors in 2025, 2) to generate climate actions in our communities, and 3) to bring climate action consciousness to our local, provincial and federal governments’ vision and policy. We will meet weekly and monthly on Zoom to share stories and strategies. Do you want to join me in this effort for increasing consciousness, connection and communication within our communities?
Starting March 3, RSVP, [email protected]
