Good for gravel, not much else

Editor: I would like to comment on the letter re 71 acres on Field Road (Coast Reporter, Sept. 24, "What's up in Sechelt"). The land in question would make a better gravel pit than anything else.

I would like to comment on the letter re 71 acres on Field Road (Coast Reporter, Sept. 24, "What's up in Sechelt"). The land in question would make a better gravel pit than anything else.

I would like to see letter writer Laura Houle try to grow a crop on that land. I also hate to see good land paved, but this is not good land. It could make a good tree farm, as that was all that was growing there.
