On behalf of the Elves Club, I am writing to ask for your support to help with our Christmas Hamper distribution.
Last year we had a great response and together as a community we prepared and delivered hampers to 684 households on the Coast. Each was filled with food, gifts and extras to help bring the feeling of Christmas into the homes. Membership is one penny a day and one food item per month.
We would ask that you consider becoming a member or giving a donation or both. We are in need of donations of non-perishable food items, and gifts for all ages, baby up to grandparents. This would make a huge difference come the holiday time.
Drop off depots will be open soon.
The Elves Club Telethon will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5 at the Gibsons Heritage Theatre from 2 to 10 p.m. Tune in for the entertainment, call in with a pledge.
Join in the hamper filling Dec. 17 (evening) and Dec. 18 (all day).
Deliver on Dec. 19 at the Christian Life Assembly Church, on School Road in Gibsons.
