What kind of a price do you put on a one-of-a-kind landscape like our Davis Bay seawall? Is it $3 million, or is it priceless? What about the future for tourism and the loving, hand-holding walks along the ocean at sunset? Who are the landscapers of this beautiful ocean park? Is it the people of Sechelt or is it the highways ministry? Three fender-benders a year does not make it a safety problem.

Is there anyone in Sechelt who wants our seawall eroded by logging trucks and cars? We do not want the seawall touched by the ministry, right? Come to the next District public meeting and make it happen.

Get this right with the people of Sechelt or we will find a new Sechelt council. Most cities are expanding their city heritage, and there is no other place like this on the Sunshine Coast. It is our biggest tourism asset (a diamond in the rough), so stand up and be counted.
