When I read a letter in Coast Reporter months ago by Yvonne Mounsey, I immediately called her. Years ago I thought how lights were very needed in Roberts Creek, but I am not part of the community there. Reading Mrs. Mounsey's letter made me happy to jump up and let her know how I will be more than happy to help her where it's needed. I was very happy to help get lights at Norwest Bay Road, and I would be even more happy to see lights go up in Roberts Creek.

Mrs. Mounsey is right; our lights were not needed as much as hers. Ours were more for convenience than safety, where hers are needed more for safety. I drive through that intersection and always wonder how long and hard people have to work to get across the highway there. How many people have died trying? How many will die before our government finally puts the lights in?

Lights have been needed there for years, and now the Roberts Creek community is coming together asking for them. They deserve to have them put in ASAP.
