With tourist season a few months away, the District of Sechelt is looking for people to run food trucks or other mobile vending services at Davis Bay, Kinnikinnick Park and Friendship Park.

The mobile pads would be available from March 1 to Oct. 31, according to a District of Sechelt announcement, and while food services operators are the top choices the district is also open to other types of operators, such as paddleboard rentals or mobile flower vendors.

New mobile vendor bylaws were adopted in 2011, and in 2018 the list of sites was expanded to include Friendship Park.

Applications for licences will be accepted until 2 p.m. Feb. 11.
