WINNIPEG — Kyle Connor was glad he and the Winnipeg Jets got some puck luck on Tuesday. Connor scored a natural hat trick in the first period to spark the Jets to a 6-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks.

TORONTO — Craig Berube wanted more life and energy. The Toronto Maple Leafs head coach felt his players delivered. The result, however, was more of the same.

OTTAWA — The Ottawa Charge felt like they beat themselves Tuesday night. The Charge (4-0-2-4) struggled to match the Toronto Sceptres' intensity and effort and ultimately fell short in a 4-2 loss.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Radek Faksa scored the tiebreaking goal in the third period, and the St. Louis Blues beat the Calgary Flames 2-1 on Tuesday night. Faksa tipped in a shot by Tyler Tucker with 8:49 left.

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — The visiting Portland Winterhawks outshot the Prince Albert Raiders 41-24 on Tuesday night, but came up on the short end of a 5-4 Western Hockey League decision.
