On Oct. 15 the BRAT Enduro race was hosted at Brickers cidery in West Sechelt. This annual event is to raise funds for local trail maintenance and this year raised $600. This was split between SCUMB (Sunshine Coast United Mountain Bikers) and Coast Mountain Bike Trails Association.
The unique handicap system values your age and after applying it Gail Sawers and Chris Perley were the winners. Take 100 less your age and that’s the percentage of time you’re allotted so the old guys win! Before the handicap was applied our fastest riders were Jeremy and Gail.
