The Skater of the Month for December is Kate Tierney.
Kate transitioned quickly from CanSkate to Junior Academy.
The Grade 4 student at Gibsons Elementary shows an eagerness to learn and has a no-fear attitude. She is enjoying getting quicker on the ice each day and learning all the fun skating moves. “I never want to get off the ice when I’m there,” Kate said. “I have the best skating teachers!”
The nine year old brings a positive attitude, is respectful, and determined. Kate participates in both the on-ice and dryland program and we look forward to her continued progress.
When she is not skating, she enjoys dancing and making experiments.
