The Sunshine Coast Athletics peewee baseball team won three of four games in last weekend’s President’s Cup tournament in Vancouver. The boys demonstrated outstanding teamwork and had amazing bats all weekend with Rowan Farquaharson and Ty Cousins hitting homeruns. Game MVPs went to Ty Cousins, Shahvir Zack, Charlie Dempster and Grant Pednaud. The team’s skills competition Round the Horn competitors Fergus Pringle, Charlie Dempster, Ty Cousins and Jack Swanson-Joe won their event and Jack Swanson-Joe took home the trophy for the Homerun Derby.
