A multi-million dollar yacht takes on water after running aground in Pender Harbour on Aug. 3.
There were no injuries and no apparent environmental damage after the 30-metre yacht Bellissima hit submerged rocks off Daniel Point.
RCM-SAR Station 61 from Pender Harbour was called out, along with the Canadian Coast Guard vessel Cape Caution. Several private boats and the Pender Harbour Volunteer Fire Department also offered aid.
The yacht remains in Pender Harbour undergoing repairs.
