A police officer pulled over a vehicle near the intersection of Teredo Street and Inlet Avenue after witnessing the driver merge suddenly from a left turn lane into the through lane, crossing a solid white line to do so, causing the vehicle behind him to have to brake hard. An officer located the driver and vehicle in Gibsons and spoke with the driver, who did not display any signs of impairment or distress. The driver advised the erratic driving may have occurred when her two dogs had been barking in the back of the car and she had turned around to tell them to be quiet.

On March 17, a thief stole a purse that the owner had accidently left behind at a business in the 1100 block of Highway 101. The purse was later found in the men's washroom, with all the cash inside missing. Police are reviewing security footage.

On the afternoon of March 17, a report of over a dozen possible shots fired came in from the 7500 block of Sechelt Inlet Road. Police officers made patrols and spoke with neighbours who also reported hearing the noise. The source of the noise was located in the 7400 block of Sechelt Inlet Road, where a resident was found to be using a concrete hammer gun to complete a construction project.

An impaired driver was reported in the 800 block of Gibsons Way after a witness saw a vehicle swerving into oncoming eastbound traffic, almost running two vehicles off the road. The witness provided a licence plate number, vehicle description and direction of travel. Police located and stopped the vehicle and found the driver to be very intoxicated. The driver refused to provide breath samples, so was arrested and lodged in cells until sober. The vehicle was towed. The file is still under investigation.

A small woman's bracelet with distinctive features was found in the 5500 block of Inlet Road in early February, and recently turned into the RCMP. The owner may claim with a detailed description in person at the Sechelt detachment. Reference file No. 11-1619.

On March 19, police responded to a mischief in progress file in the 5500 block of Shorncliffe Avenue. Police located an intoxicated male and female amidst broken glass from a table and window. There was also a smoldering fire discovered nearby as well as a large quantity of cigarette butts, empty alcohol cans and bottles. The intoxicated male admitted to breaking the glass table and window and was arrested for mischief and taken into custody until sober. The file is still under investigation.

On March 21, police attended to an alarm call at a business in the 1100 block of Highway 101 and found a rear door that was propped open by a trolley, but no suspects on scene. The property representative advised that nothing appeared damaged nor was anything stolen. Another business nearby reported damage from the same time, and was able to identify the suspect caught on surveillance footage. The suspect was contacted and he admitted to the mischief and the break and enter. Due to the age of the suspect, the matter is being referred to the Restorative Justice program.
