The Big Bike is back June 19

The Heart and Stroke Big Bike is coming.

The Heart and Stroke Big Bike is coming. More powerful than your childhood three-speed, faster than a speeding tricycle and able to handle the nastiest bumps and hills Gibsons has to offer, the Big Bike will roll into Gibsons on Monday, June 19 at Dougall Park.

The Big Bike for Stroke is a unique bicycle built for 30 that travels across Canada from April to September and will visit more than 200 communities across nine provinces. Over 54,000 riders will share in the amazing Big Bike experience. It's more than just a bike and it's more than just a ride, because when the Heart and Stroke Big Bike rolls through Gibsons it brings with it the support and hope of thousands across the country.

Now in its 14th successful year, this event provides a unique opportunity for people to work together and have fun while raising funds for a worthwhile cause. Heart and Stroke invites everyone to get together and ride the bike (there are still a few spots left) or simply come down to Dougall Park to cheer on your favourite team. To register and participate in the Heart and Stroke Big Bike or for more information, contact the North Shore Area Office at 1-604-983-8492 or visit www.heartandstroke.bc.ca for details.
